USERS Ain’t HOT in my Book!

We live in a world where using people is more than a trend. For many people its a lifestyle, but to me its just as bad as doing drugs.

The world revolves around no one, we know this. Many people want to be successful, I think we can all agree on that, but I think the question is what is the method of achieving success? What is the strategy for achieving success? What is the ulterior motives and whom are you willing to use to achieve that success?

I can honestly say that using someone to get to where I’m going is not my forte’. The reason being is because, I have something valuable to bring to the table. I have something that I can pitch in to pay my own dues. I do the things that I know I can do on my own and that I have worked so hard to achieve.

I don’t want people to feel that I’m using them for my own gain. I haven’t had one person feel that way about me. That’s not the type person I am. Of course, I can’t say the same about how other people are with me. It sucks that its like that, but unfortunately that’s the way it is.

Everybody is trying to get ahead, but have no honor about the approach. There is no loyalty, there is no integrity. Its like its all about self and I’ve seen it many of times. Now not everyone is like that. There are some good people out here who do understand that it is about supporting each other and uplifting each other, helping one another to reach to the next plateau of our lives and careers.

But I think the main thing with users is that history repeats itself. There are so many people on top that use and squeeze out of those people who aren’t there yet or at their status, that when those people finally get over the hump, instead of learning from what happened to them, they replicate what was done to them to those that were in the same position they were in, when trying to get there.

The using just keeps going. And its a sucky feeling. Why is it that people want to take advantage!!??? Its similar to the question, what do men with power want more of? The answer is power. Some will do anything to get it. Even if it means using someone as a foot stool or using someone to make you look good, like you made them.

I’m saying this loud and clear, “GOD MADE ME WHO I AM!” It is GOD, who has Blessed me with these gifts. It is GOD, who allows me to breath and wake up in the morning. God and His son, Jesus have every right to use me. Anyone beneath them, which is everyone have no right whatsoever to use me. No one on this earth has provided me with the things that God has provided me with and that’s fact in its purest form.

Users ain’t hot in my book at all. I’m not a foot stool, a crutch, a puppet, a gimmick, a look or anything along those lines. I am a business chick!
