I Don’t Believe In X-MAS, I Believe In Christmas!

YES!!!!!!!! There is a difference! A huge difference.

I would be honored to define it for you.

X-MAS is a period of time created by retailers to boost sales around the Christmas Holidays. It is also a word to involve non-believers  who don’t believe in Christmas during this spiritual holiday, to get their consumerism as well. It’s all about money

CHRISTMAS is a birthday celebration and Holiday for believers in Jesus Christ.

Businesses have contributed in turning the meaning of Christmas all about money, selling products, moving units to get that top dollar and they have done a great job fooling so many people, even believers in this infiltrated  and substitution term, “X-Mas.”

The word Christmas derived from somewhere, it just wasn’t made up. There is a story behind it. Christmas is way bigger than some big sale at Macy’s, Toys R’Us and Walmart. This is about the birth of Jesus Christ. The greatest gift ever given to mankind. Henceforth, “giving”, not of money and sells and discounts, but salvation and life. It is also about being thankful for love, family, health, strength and all of the little things that people often take for granted.

Wikipedia defines X-Mas as a common abbreviation of Christmas. Then it goes into breaking down the origins and languages from which it came from. Then it goes on to say, verbatim:

“There is a common misconception that the word Xmas stems from a secular attempt to remove the religious tradition from Christmas[3] by taking the “Christ” out of “Christmas”.”

I find this to be quite funny. Now why would they feel the need to put that down. People this is not a misconception. We as believers, should have the decency to honor God and His son, Jesus Christ to say, write and type the true name of this grand Holiday and Birthday Celebration.

Wikipedia’s statement is another way to cover up and justify themselves in telling people this garbage. They quoted this because they know that “X-Mas” is an attempt to remove the spiritual purpose and meaning from Christmas, it had to be addressed. And I’m willing to bet that an atheist or non-believer wrote that statement.

“X-Mas” should definitely be included in High School and College marketing and business books, because that is all it is, a marketing business and promotional stunt and tool.

I put it on the level of X-Men. As much as I like the comics and the animation series, this is what the meaning of Christmas has been diminished to. As far as honor. Just like X-Men is fiction and it doesn’t exist, so is X-Mas. That crap was clean made up. The same goes for Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny. Come on believers, we are better than that.

Everything doesn’t have to be entertainment. There is a time to play and a time not to. Kids will be happier if you just tell them the truth. Like I said, Christmas is way bigger and better and stronger than this so-called term, “X-Mas”

I hear people on Facebook ask often, “Why did they take Prayer out of school?” You know what, prayer wasn’t taken out of school. Some person who had the power, money, position and big time degree said to take it out and everyone followed pursuit. Just because someone says it, it doesn’t mean you have to put action behind it. When I was in school I still prayed. I prayed in my head, much like how the teacher asks you to read in your head not out loud. WE CAN STILL PRAY IN SCHOOL!!!!!

Now it has transcended onto Christmas. Shall I demonstrate, “Why did they take Christ out of Christmas?” You know what, Christ wasn’t taken out of Christmas. Some non-believer who had the power, money, position and big time degree said to take it out and call it “X-Mas” to include non-believers and everyone including believers followed pursuit. They trained everybody and everyone caught on to the concept. It was accepted!

I don’t believe in X-Mas, I believe in Christmas.

People have the right to know the truth. Don’t be fooled by a political term, a marketing term, a retailers term, a business term. That is all “X-Mas” is. Christmas should be honored better than that. Call me by my real name not a fake name. Call it what it is, anything else is disrespectful.

So the word, “Christmas” is long. I just kind of feel since people have the time to write out curse words, derogatory names and any other word we use out of the dictionary, why can’t we do that for “Christmas”, especially since that word, the Holiday does have so much more meaning than most words people use on a regular! Something to think about.

I love Christmas and I understand the meaning of it and the History of it. I’m very passionate about this Holiday and I can see how the spirit of Christmas has just changed over the years and I know that there are many of you who see it or have seen it too. Seeds can be planted in many ways even within a name and how people view these Holidays. Remember what Christmas is about. It is not in the Mall, stores and shops. It is in our hearts, spirit and our lives.

I don’t believe in X-Mas. I don’t believe in it not one bit. I believe in Christmas! I hope each of you have a beautiful, Blessed & safe Christmas! Happy Holidays to you, you and you! #SMILE!

The World Is So GOOD at “REJECTING!”

………………because that is what the world knows the best.

The world has rejecting down to a science.

You’d think that with all that this world has to offer to a person that rejection would be the last action on the list, but the world would rather accept those who pay or sacrifice a major price then accept a man or woman for their genuine talent and that’s it.

Its the ulterior motives, the disclaimers, the what are you going to do for me, the what are you going to give up, the limitations unless…….and if you don’t, well, go kick rocks.

You have to give up something that is valuable and/or precious to you. In some cases, sometimes what is being asked of you is your very soul. This is the price in most cases for not being rejected. What are you willing to do and how far are you willing to go to achieve what you desire most in this world?

SMH. The world knows you, knows me, knows us too well. Now, I’m not saying that in some scenarios this may not be true, but there is always some type of price no matter how big or how small.

It could be in the forms of politics, popularity, money, time, sex (including oral), an intangible, a tangible, signing your life and/or your work away, selling your soul, going against your morals or standards, you get the point.

You see, the world’s goal is to squeeze every ounce of innocence out of you, to see how far you will go, to see how much you can take before you break and then comes the back stabbing or vessels to remind you all that you did to get to where you are, focusing mainly on the negative, the bad and the ugly. Think about some of your favorite actors, artists, entertainers and/or celebrities in general. And if you have followed these big time names/people since they first came out, you can see in most of them if not all of them, the 360 change in who they are from when they first came out on the scene.

The influences and pressures of the world have the ability to manipulate who you are and what you will become if granted the blessings of the world. The world wants to take you and mold you into something else. What that is? Well, it varies with each person.

See, we all came to this world as babies. We were ourselves, but as we lived and grew up in this world and created goals and fought for what we believed in, as we matured and formed attitudes and strong emotions and passions and a love for what we did and what we were good at, the world was there witnessing it all. Taking us through different things, creating obstacles to block us from what was to be ours to begin with. Haters were going toe to toe with us. They talked about us behind our backs. We were not liked for the beautiful gifts we possessed. Yes, the world was jealous of us, ever since we were born.

They saw our gifts and our youth and innocence and because we have it compared to those that don’t have it or at one point had it but now they don’t, the world rejects us. Favoritism, politics, money, power and darkness became the ally of the world. They became one. They loved each other so much and understood they had something. They read each others minds and so therefore they were linked.

They made a pack with each other against those that with their gift and having none of the features of the world’s allies, that getting somewhere would be at the mercy of the gate keeper(s).

Did you know that the World is a living organism? Well, guess what, it is. Think of the World as an actual person, a human being. It has the capabilities that any other human has, but it has something else too. It operates as an entity. It has the strengths of both subjects, but the weakness of an entity. It relies on natural and physical elements and chooses not to feel unless it is of close ties with the its allies.

REJECTION!

That is its first nature, its first love. The World is so quick to reject because its just that easy. The World is going to be aight, its going to sustain, its going to make its money and replenish and grow stronger as those beneath it grow weaker. The World wants you and me to ask it for something so that it has the pleasure to say, “No!”

It makes it feel more like a macho man, like it is in power, its in control. What are you going to do? Some people will actually do nothing. They will shake they’re heads, “Yes,” and go back to the norm. And then you have those who fight to the death to the very end, who find it within themselves that rejection will not be accepted nor will it be the last say to their dreams. What do you do when you get knocked down? Do you stay down or do you get back up and do it again.”

What will rejection do to you?

The World has already preconceived what it will do. It is a brick wall. It won’t knock itself down unless you knock it down. This my friend is about character. What will you do when you face adversity?

You Learn a Whole lot About People when the Subject of “MONEY” Comes Up!

All you can do is laugh.

And if not that, all you can do is just show no emotion about it. Don’t entertain the ignorance.

After awhile, when you bring up money when it comes to selling your product or art or whatever you do, you just become immune to it. There is a mutual understanding without going any further.

For the most part, you save some time because you don’t have to entertain a person for too long. You are able to get to the meat of the discussion. Literally!

Really, its a deal breaker to find out whose really full of sh………….!!!!! Imma keep it Rated PG though, for the kids. LeXX Loves the Kids!

Yes, its annoying. Especially when you know and they know that you’re product is good, great quality, distinguished, worth every penny. But then you bring up that word, “money” and people get shady so quick. I think its the sound of it. It could be that it is a trigger word to run people off.

Cuz you know, everybody is a fan or a supporter or a customer until you mention that topic, “money” and then everybody goes dumb founded. You start to hear crickets, the room goes empty or no one understands what you’re saying. Its like you’re speaking a totally new different language.

They just flip the script with you. Like, “were we just having a conversation.” The dialogue literally goes mute and they just forget what the whole conversation was about. Or there is no response from a direct message, a tweet, an Instagram comment and/or Facebook comment.

I guess they were diagnosed with the mute syndrome, instantaneously. The, “I’m allergic to money talk.” And its only on the end where you’re asking for someone to support you. The giving is the problem. I think we can all agree on that everybody is down to take money, who wouldn’t?

But if you really want to learn a whole lot about a person, people, supporters, fans, bring up the subject, “Money” and you will find out very quickly who believes in you, who supports you, who really likes you and is willing to invest in you. Its almost like finding out who your real friends are when you get into trouble, when things ain’t looking too good for the home team.

True colors come out the wood works. And again, its nothing to be mad about. And I’ll be honest, it does hurt. It can be a rude awakening if you’re a baby to it all, but suck it up and keep going. Unfortunately, that’s just the way life is.

There is a saying that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, but it makes sense, “Give to those that have.” which means giving not to those who don’t have.

I say this to bring up this point…….

Now these things may not apply if you have an already BIG name or you’re well known or you are coming up fast in a hot market. But, other than that its rough. Just look at how hard it is to get people, fans, & supporters to purchase your $0.99 Single on iTunes! Its crazy. You have to have some serious backing and/or serious buzz.

There’s nothing to hide, lets just be real about this. You know. Either you’ve been through it or someone you know has been through it. But no emotion is needed. Why show emotion if it just is!
